طواقم بلدية غزة تستمر بأعمال جمع وترحيل النفايات من أحياء وطرقات المدينة

تواصل طواقم البلدية، بالتعاون مع المؤسسات الدولية والمحلية، جهودها في جمع وترحيل النفايات من شوارع وأحياء مدينة غزة، بهدف التخفيف من الأضرار الصحية والبيئية التي تواجهها المدينة، والعمل على تهيئة الطرقات قدر الإمكان تحضيرًا لفصل الشتاء.

تتركز هذه الجهود في المناطق الحيوية، خاصةً حول مراكز إيواء النازحين والمناطق المأهولة بالسكان. تأتي هذه الأعمال ضمن التحضيرات لموسم الشتاء، حيث تراكم حوالي 160 ألف طن من النفايات في الشوارع والأحياء والمكبات المؤقتة، مع استمرار منع موظفي البلدية من الوصول إلى مكب النفايات الرئيس في منطقة حجر الديك بعد مرور عام على العدوان.

وتحث بلدية غزة المواطنين الكرام على التعاون مع طواقم البلدية والمساهمة في تسهيل أعمالهم.

كما تناشد بلدية غزة المؤسسات الدولية والمحلية بتقديم الدعم المستمر لضمان استدامة هذه الجهود الضرورية، وللتخفيف من تفاقم الوضع البيئي في ظل التحديات الحالية.

Ongoing Solid Waste Collection and Transfer Efforts in Gaza City's Neighborhoods and Streets

Gaza Municipality, in collaboration with international and local organizations, continues its efforts to collect and transfer solid waste from the streets and neighborhoods of Gaza City. These efforts aim to reduce the health and environmental risks facing the city and to prepare the roads as much as possible for the upcoming winter season.

The focus of these efforts is on vital areas, particularly around shelters for displaced people and densely populated neighborhoods. These activities are part of the preparations for the winter season, with 160,000 tons of accumulated solid waste in the streets, neighborhoods, and temporary dumping sites. Meanwhile, municipal crews are still unable to access the main landfill in the Juhr Al-Deek area, a year after the aggression.

Gaza Municipality urges all citizens to cooperate with its teams and assist in facilitating their work.

The municipality also calls on international and local organizations to provide continuous support to ensure the sustainability of these essential efforts and to mitigate the worsening environmental situation amid the current challenges.
