إعلام البلدية:
تحذّر بلدية غزة من خطورة تفاقم الكارثة الإنسانية في المدينة جراء تصعيد الاحتلال لحرب الإبادة المستمرة منذ نحو عامين، وما نتج عنها من دمار واسع في البنية التحتية وتكدس كبير للنفايات في الشوارع والمكبات، إضافة إلى نقص حاد في الخدمات الأساسية.
وأوضحت البلدية أن الأزمة تتفاقم يوميا بفعل تراكم النفايات، وانعدام المياه الكافية، وتسرب المياه العادمة نتيجة تدمير شبكات الصرف الصحي، مشيرةً إلى أن الجهود المبذولة لجمع النفايات تواجه عوائق كبيرة بسبب نقص الوقود والآليات ومنع الوصول إلى المكب الرئيس شرق المدينة.
وتناشد بلدية غزة المجتمع الدولي والمنظمات الإنسانية بالتحرك الفوري لوقف حرب الإبادة، ودعم جهود البلدية في التخفيف من الكارثة عبر توفير الاحتياجات الطارئة والحد من انتشار الأوبئة والأمراض.

Gaza Municipality warns of an escalating humanitarian catastrophe in the city as the Israeli occupation intensifies its genocide, ongoing for nearly two years, causing massive destruction to infrastructure, severe waste accumulation in streets and dumpsites, and acute shortages of essential services.
The Municipality explained that the crisis is worsening daily due to increasing waste, insufficient water supply, and sewage leakage resulting from the destruction of sanitation networks. It noted that efforts to collect waste face serious obstacles due to fuel shortages, lack of equipment, and restrictions preventing access to the main dumpsite east of the city.
Gaza Municipality calls on the international community and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to stop the genocide and support the Municipality’s efforts to mitigate the catastrophe by providing urgent assistance and preventing the spread of epidemics and diseases.
