توقف مؤقت لأعمال فتح الطرق وإزالة الركام في مدينة غزة بسبب عدم دخول الوقود

أفادت بلدية غزة بتوقفٍ مؤقتٍ لأعمال فتح الطرق وإزالة الركام في مختلف مناطق المدينة، اليوم، وذلك نتيجة عدم دخول كميات الوقود اللازمة لتشغيل الآليات الثقيلة.
وأوضحت البلدية أن طواقمها الفنية والهندسية كانت تعمل وفق الإمكانيات المتاحة خلال الفترة الماضية على فتح الشوارع المتضررة وإزالة الأنقاض، إلا أن استمرار هذه الأعمال بات مرهونا بتوفر الوقود اللازم لتشغيل المعدات والآليات، في ظل النقص الحاد القائم.
وأكدت بلدية غزة أنها تبذل جهودا متواصلة، بالتعاون مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، لتأمين احتياجاتها العاجلة من الوقود، بما يتيح استئناف الأعمال في أقرب وقت ممكن، لما لها من أهمية بالغة في تسهيل حركة المواطنين، ودعم عودة الحياة تدريجيا إلى الأحياء المتضررة.
ودعت البلدية المؤسسات الدولية والجهات المعنية إلى التدخل العاجل ودعم احتياجات القطاع البلدي، لضمان استمرارية تقديم الخدمات الأساسية، لا سيما في ظل الأوضاع الإنسانية الصعبة التي تعيشها المدينة.

Temporary Suspension of Road Opening and Rubble Removal Works in Gaza City Due to Fuel Shortages
Gaza Municipality announced a temporary suspension of road opening and rubble removal works across various areas of the city today, due to the non-entry of fuel quantities required to operate heavy machinery.
The Municipality explained that its technical and engineering teams had been working within the available capacities over the past period to reopen damaged streets and remove debris; however, the continuation of these works has become contingent upon the availability of fuel necessary to operate equipment and machinery, amid the current acute shortage.
Gaza Municipality affirmed that it is making continuous efforts, in coordination with relevant parties, to secure its urgent fuel needs, enabling the resumption of works as soon as possible, given their critical importance in facilitating citizens’ movement and supporting the gradual restoration of life in affected neighborhoods.
The Municipality also called on international institutions and concerned stakeholders to intervene urgently and support the needs of the municipal sector, in order to ensure the continuity of essential services, particularly in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions facing the city.
