Rehabilitation of 13 Water Wells Completed as Work Continues on 20 Additional Wells

As part of its ongoing efforts to alleviate severe water shortages caused by the destruction of water facilities and the scarcity of energy sources and fuel, Gaza Municipality continues rehabilitation work on water wells destroyed by the Israeli occupation during the war of genocide.

In cooperation with supporting and partner organizations, the municipality has completed the rehabilitation of 13 water wells, including Al-Rimal Water Well 5 (Al-Thawra), Al-Yarmouk Reservoir in its first and second phases, Sheikh Radwan Water Wells 7, 9, 10, and 11, Al-Sabra Water Well 9 (Al-Khaderiya), Sheikh Radwan Water Well A7, Mbashi Hassan Water Well, Sheikh Ajleen Water Well 5 (Barcelona), and Al-Rimal Water Well 9.

The municipality is currently continuing rehabilitation work on approximately 20 additional water wells across various areas of the city, in cooperation with supporting and partner institutions, as part of its efforts to improve access to water for residents and mitigate the worsening humanitarian crisis.
