Gaza Mayor Honors Employee in Recognition of His Integrity

The Mayor of Gaza, Dr. Yahya Al-Sarraj, honored employee Mohammad Rouqa in recognition of his integrity after he found a sum of money during his work within the municipal bus initiative for transporting citizens. He promptly handed it over to the municipal administration in preparation for returning it to its rightful owner.

The honoring ceremony took place at the Mayor’s office, in the presence of the Assistant Director General for Financial Affairs, Mohammad Al-Masri; Diaa Skik, Director of the Facilities and Collections Department; Eng. Ahmed Al-Drimly, Director of Public Relations; and Mohammad Al-Sawafiri, Head of the Services and Crafts Collection Section.

Rouqa had found the money inside one of the buses. The municipality called on citizens who may have lost money on one of the initiative’s buses to contact the municipality.
