بلدية غزة تفتتح مشروع إعادة تأهيل بئر الخضرية في حي الصبرة

افتتح رئيس بلدية غزة، د. يحيى السراج، مشروع إعادة تأهيل بئر مياه الخضرية في حي الصبرة جنوب غرب المدينة، بعد تعرضه لأضرار كبيرة جراء قصف الاحتلال خلال حرب الإبادة، وذلك بحضور ممثل عن مؤسسة لايف، حاتم عفانة، ورئيس لجنة حي الصبرة م. ماهر حرزالله، وأعضاء اللجنة، إلى جانب أهالي ووجهاء الحي.
وشملت أعمال التأهيل إنشاء غرفة خاصة للبئر، وتأهيل المضخة والخط الرئيس داخل البئر، إضافة إلى تأهيل باقي الملحقات المرتبطة به، بما يسهم في تغذية محيط البئر في حي الصبرة بالمياه، وخدمة نحو خمسة عشر ألف مواطن في المنطقة.
وتأتي هذه الأعمال في إطار جهود بلدية غزة للتخفيف من أزمة نقص المياه التي تمر بها المدينة في ظل الدمار الواسع الذي طال البنية التحتية المائية، وفي هذا السياق تدعو بلدية غزة المؤسسات الدولية والمحلية إلى

Gaza Municipality Inaugurates the Rehabilitation Project of Al-Khodariya Water Well in Al-Sabra Neighborhood
The Mayor of Gaza, Dr. Yahya Sarraj, inaugurated the rehabilitation project of the Al-Khodariya water well in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, after it sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment during the genocidal war.
The inauguration was attended by a representative of the Life Foundation, Mr. Hatem Affana; the Head of the Al-Sabra Neighborhood Committee, Eng. Maher Harzallah; members of the committee; as well as residents and community leaders of the neighborhood.
The rehabilitation works included the construction of a dedicated well room, rehabilitation of the pump and the main pipeline inside the well, and the restoration of all related facilities. The well contributes to supplying water to its surrounding area and serves approximately fifteen thousand residents.
These works come as part of Gaza Municipality’s efforts to mitigate the ongoing water shortage crisis facing the city amid the extensive destruction inflicted on water infrastructure. In this context, Gaza Municipality calls upon international and local institutions to support its efforts and sustained interventions, enabling the municipality to continue providing essential services to residents and alleviate the worsening humanitarian crisis.
