بلدية غزة تبحث مع الصليب الأحمر سبل تعزيز التعاون ودعم الخدمات البلدية

بحث رئيس بلدية غزة د يحيى السراج، خلال اجتماع عقد في مقر اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر (ICRC) في غزة، الأوضاع الراهنة في المدينة، والتحديات المتزايدة التي تواجه العمل البلدي في ظل الظروف السائدة، وذلك بمشاركة م. جمال عناية رئيس المجلس التنفيذي ومساعد المدير العام لشؤون الصيانة والخدمات، و م. محمد الشقرة من وحدة التعاون الدولي.
ومثل وفد اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر كل من السيدة ماتيلد رايدر، رئيسة مكتب غزة، والسيد أندريه باسكالاري، نائب رئيس بعثة اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر في غزة، والسيدة نسرين المدهون، رئيسة مكتب غزة وشمال غزة.
وتناول الاجتماع استعراض مجمل التحديات التي تواجه بلدية غزة في تقديم خدماتها الأساسية، في ظل الأوضاع الإنسانية والدمار الواسع الذي طال البنية التحتية، إلى جانب بحث مجالات التعاون القائمة والمحتملة بين البلدية واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر، بما يسهم في تعزيز التنسيق المشترك ودعم استمرارية الخدمات البلدية الحيوية.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار الجهود المتواصلة لتعزيز الشراكة والتعاون بين بلدية غزة واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر، دعما لصمود مدينة غزة وسكانها، وتخفيفا من حدة التحديات الإنسانية والخدماتية القائمة.

Gaza Municipality Discusses with the International Committee of the Red Cross Ways to Enhance Cooperation and Support Municipal Services
The Mayor of Gaza, Dr. Yahya Sarraj, discussed the current situation in the city and the growing challenges facing municipal work during a meeting held at the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Gaza. The meeting was attended by Eng. Jamal Enaya, Head of the Executive Council and Assistant Director General for Maintenance and Services, and Eng. Mohammad Al-Shuqra from the International Cooperation Unit.
The ICRC delegation was represented by Ms. Mathilde Reider, Head of the Gaza Office; Mr. André Pascalari, Deputy Head of the ICRC Mission in Gaza; and Ms. Nisreen Al-Madhoun, Head of the Gaza and North Gaza Office.
The meeting reviewed the overall challenges facing Gaza Municipality in delivering essential services amid the humanitarian conditions and the extensive destruction of infrastructure. It also discussed existing and potential areas of cooperation between the Municipality and the ICRC, in a manner that contributes to strengthening joint coordination and supporting the continuity of vital municipal services.
This meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance partnership and cooperation between Gaza Municipality and the International Committee of the Red Cross, in support of the resilience of Gaza City and its residents, and to alleviate the severity of the prevailing humanitarian and service-related challenges.
