بيان صادر عن بلدية غزة في أعقاب العدوان الإسرائيلي
تدين بلدية غزة أفعال الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الوحشية بحق المدنيين الأبرياء، إذ امتدت هذه الأعمال إلى استهداف وتدمير شبكات المياه والصرف الصحي وشبكات الكهرباء والبنية التحتية للمدينة والمباني السكنية ومرافق البلدية الأخرى. تطلق بلدية غزة دعوة عاجلة لاتخاذ إجراءات من أجل معالجة العواقب المؤسفة للعدوان على غزة من أجل تجنب المزيد من الآثار الكارثية في المستقبل القريب وأي أحداث في أعقاب هذا العدوان.
وقد أفاد مسؤولو الصحة في غزة باستشهاد ما لا يقل عن 130 شخصًا، بينهم 31 طفلاً و19 امرأة، وإصابة 830 منذ 9 مايو 2021.
بتاريخ 13 مايو، تعرضت محطة الصرف الصحي رقم"1" للأضرار جراء الغارات الجوية الإسرائيلية، أعقبها توقف محطة تحلية المياه لمدة ثلاثة أيام متتالية، والتي تقع شمال غزة، بسبب الانقطاع المتكرر للكهرباء.
علاوة على ذلك، فإن استمرار استهداف الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لشبكات المياه المنزلية في المدينة ينذر بأزمة إنسانية حتمية قد تؤدي إلى نقص حاد في المياه في مناطق مختلفة من المدينة مع تداعيات صحية خطيرة، كما تقدر الخسائر المادية بأكثر من 3 ملايين دولار.
إن بلدية غزة قلقة للغاية من تأثير التصعيد العسكري على القدرة على الاستمرار في تقديم الخدمات البلدية الأساسية، إذ أصبح الوضع معقدًا بشكل كبير في ظل النقص الحاد في الوقود اللازم لتشغيل آليات البلدية ومحطات تقديم الخدمات.
كما تناشد بلدية غزة جميع الهيئات المحلية والدولية لمساعدتها على تقديم الخدمات الأساسية للمواطنين، مثل إمدادات المياه، وإزالة الأنقاض، وإصلاح البنية التحتية، ووظائف الطوارئ الأخرى.

The Municipality of Gaza condemns the atrocities of the Israeli occupation against innocent civilians. These atrocities extended to targeting and destructing water, wastewater networks and electricity networks, city infrastructure, residential buildings and other municipal facilities.
MoG launches an urgent call of action in order to address the unfortunate consequences of the unlawful aggression on Gaza in order to avoid further disastrous impact in the immediate future and the aftermath of this aggression.
Health officials in Gaza has reported that at least 130 persons were killed, including 31 children and 19 women, with 830 wounded since May 9, 2021.
On May 13 the wastewater station No. 1 has been damaged by the Israeli airstrikes followed by the breakdown of the water desalination plant for three days in a row, which is located in north Gaza, due to the frequent electricity cutoff.
Moreover, the Israeli occupation continuous targeting of the domestic water networks in the city warns of an inevitable humanitarian crisis, resulting in a severe water shortage in different areas of the city with alarming adverse health repercussions.
The damages are estimated to amount to more than $3 million.
The Municipality of Gaza is profoundly concerned about the impact of the military escalation on the ability to continue providing necessary municipal services. The situation is becoming seriously complicated in light of the extreme shortage of fuel required to operate municipal vehicles and service stations.
MoG appeals to all local and international bodies to help it to be able to provide basic services to the citizens, such as water supply, rubble removal, infrastructure repair among other emergency functions.
